Mr. Anangwe has worked with Kenya Commercial Bank Group (KCB Group) for over 14 years. During this time, he has been engaged with responsibilities, both in the Accounts and Finance Departments. In the Accounts and Administration Department, his tasks have revolved around: Compiling, summarizing, and interpreting mid-month and end-monthly branch returns; weekly trial balances; loan processing-analysis and appraisals daily internal accounts reports and operation reports. In the Finance Department, the roles included but were not limited to Preparing 5-year financial plan consisting of P & L, Balance Sheet cash flow and ratio; preparing Credit Division’s large data reports (KCB Loan book balance lists, loan repayment reports, interests earned reports, write off reports); preparing Credit Performance reports (i.e. Performing and Non-Performing Loans report, Portfolio at Risk reports); credit analysis of personal loans.
He is currently the manager in charge of Financial Analysis and Reporting and is tasked with the following duties: Financial report analysis for KCB Group clients across all subsidiaries (i.e. KCB: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi); Financial analysis of Multinationals, Corporate, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), Mortgages, Government Institutions, and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs); preparing monthly, quarterly and annual quality reports in accordance to International Financial Reporting Standards and International Accounting Standards and KCB Group policy for KCB Group Credit Division and reporting the same to the KCB Group Board.
Mr. Anangwe is also a Senior Partner at Adoji Anangwe & Company – Registered Certified Public Accountants. He works as a consultant and his core duties include: preparing monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends. Other duties include; preparing quarterly and annual financial statements of comprehensive income, financial position, and cash flow statements. He also prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets and developing forecasts. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Egerton University and a Master of Science in Finance (MSc Finance) from the University of Nairobi. He is both a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, CPA (K), and a Certified Public Secretary, CPS (K). He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
