MR. PETER OGETO

Mr. Ogeto is a Masters of Law graduate from Southampton University, United Kingdom, and is currently a doctorate candidate of law at Atlantic International University. He attained a Bachelor of Law from the University of Nairobi and a Postgraduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is an active member of the Law Society of Kenya and an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over twenty nine (29) years experience in the legal practice. During these years, he has mainly specialized in: human rights advocacy, commercial law, conveyancing, company law, and legal aid provision.

In addition, he has lectured law for over fifteen (15) years and is currently one of the pivotal lecturers at Egerton University’s Faculty of Law. As the Founder and Managing Partner at Ogeto & Ogeto Advocates and lecturer at Egerton University, he has played a key role in shaping policy and advancing legal education. Mr. Ogeto has always offered pro-bono services whenever need arises. Moreover, his love for Legal Aid has seen him take a leading role in preparing and accompanying students taking part in Egerton’s Faculty of Law Legal Aid Project (FOLLAP) since its inception, thereby taking law to the people.
