MR. OWEN MUTAI

Mr. Mutai was admitted to the bar in 2018. He is a dynamic Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and an alumnus of Kabarak University. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. In addition, he is a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public and an active member of the Law Society of Kenya.

Mr. Mutai is a dedicated and competent individual whose expertise spans dispute resolution, conveyancing, and corporate governance. His broad experience in litigation covers diverse practice areas including rent disputes, land matters, matrimonial property, family dispute and succession matters, commercial disputes and arbitration filed before our Tribunals, Boards and small claims court to the Court of Appeal.

Notably, Mr. Mutai played a crucial role in handling cases related to the Mau Forest, representing thousands of occupants in nearby settlement schemes. His involvement showcased a delicate balance between property ownership rights and the conservation of one of the nation’s vital water towers, thereby emerging as one of the advocates who can champion the rights of the community diligently. Mr. Mutai’s youthful energy, growing expertise, and diverse experiences make him a valuable asset in providing innovative legal solutions on diverse matters that we encounter almost on a daily basis as an organization.
