Mr. Wanjala holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree from Egerton University besides being an accredited Counselor and arbitrator. He previously worked for over five years as a Community Service Officer with the Kenya Red Cross in Nakuru County. This rich background has over the years enabled him to work harmoniously within the community; solving any arising issues appropriately.

His background as a research officer at Centre for Restoration of Human Rights & Democracy prepared him well for the coordination work he does within Nakuru County. As a result, he has been instrumental in the realization of Commoner Concerns vision and mission. Mr. Wanjala has been at the forefront in handling any correspondence pertaining to legal matters at the grassroots level; timely liaising with the lead advocates and paralegals whenever need arises.
